Technology Works is a European conference that will examine the use of Person Centred Technology in the workplace. Technology Works will be held on 22 June 2011 in Cardiff Bay, Wales, UK.
Technology Works will explore the significance, issues and application of Person Centred Technology in employment and vocational training settings. The event will showcase good practice, highlight policy and practice issues in Wales and the UK and offer delegates the chance to share and discuss their experiences, and views.

The AAATE workshop 2010 “AT – technology transfer” will take place in Sheffield, UK, on October 4-5 2010. A call for contributions is open. The event is free to some delegates including authors of accepted papers or members of the AAATE who register early. The workshop is being hosted by KT-EQUAL and by D4D. The Project ImPaCT in Europe – Improving Person Centred Technology in Europe, a networking project in the field of ICT co-financed by the European Commission’s Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture in the framework of the Lifelong Learning Programme, is conducting a survey to assess the use of Person Centred Technology across Europe. The data gathered will be used by the partnership to map the current situation and to to evaluate and promote the benefits of PCT for people with disabilities. The survey is brief and user friendly and is available in English, Portuguese, Finnish, French and Dutch. People with disabilities, service providers, policy makers at all levels, researchers and manufacturers of PCT who are interested in the work carried out by the partnership are invited to contribute.

In the framework of the ImPaCT in Europe project, the conference “Breaking the barriers between Stakeholders: Bringing together service providers, policy makers and suppliers of Information & Communication Technology for People with Disabilities” will be organised in Nottingham (UK) on 21-22 September 2009.
